Part-time day shift hours from 4:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Monday - Thursday one week,
Tuesday - Friday the other with rotating weekends from 4:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Ideal candidate will have hospital experience, including newborns, pediatric, and geriatric. In addition to phlebotomy, role includes working in Support technical areas of the lab. Will consider alternate para professionals with phlebotomy experience who are eligible to become certified , such as EMT, Medical Assistants. Students graduating from an accredited phlebotomy program eligible to obtain their certification may also be considered if they have completed an externship in the hospital environment.
Pay Range
$19.80 - $29.70Major Responsibilities:
- Verifies positive patient identification to ensure patient safety. Assesses patient reactions to specimen procurement.
- Performs venipuncture and collects other specimens from newborn, pediatric, and adult patients according to established protocol. Obtains medical assistance when judged necessary.
