Position Overview SS&C GlobeOp is seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Software Engineer to help build and evolve modern, data-intensive financial applications using Angular (v20). This role is ideal for an engineer who can take well-defined UI/UX designs and wireframes and deliver polished, production-ready user interfaces, while also applying strong judgment to improve usability and workflows where needed.
You will be working on complex financial applications featuring high-volume datasets, advanced grid interactions, and role-based workflows (maker/checker), integrated into an internal enterprise design system. This is a front-end focused role, working closely with backend engineering teams as APIs and services evolve.

What You Will Get To Do:
- Build scalable, high-performance front-end applications using Angular 20 and modern Angular best practices.
- Translate Figma/wireframes into clean, responsive, production-grade UI.
- Engineer highly interactive data-grid experiences using AG Grid Enterprise, including custom cell renderers/editors, filtering, grouping, tree data, and pagination.
- Implement role-based workflows (maker/checker/admin) that drive UI behavior, permissions, approvals, and data visibility.
- Work within and extend an internal enterprise design system, leveraging design tokens and reusable UI components.
- Develop and maintain reusable front-end components and shared UI patterns (modals, toasts, alerts, dropdowns, tooltips, etc.).
- Build the service layer for API integration, converting mocked services into real HTTP-based integrations using Angular HttpClient and RxJS.
- Ensure UI performance, accessibility, and maintainability in a complex, data-dense environment.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, QA, and backend engineering teams.
What You Will Bring:
- Strong experience delivering enterprise front-end applications in Angular (16+ required, Angular 20 preferred).
- Experience working with modern Angular architecture, including standalone components and modern routing/lazy loading patterns.
- Strong experience with AG Grid (Enterprise strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of RxJS / reactive programming, including Observables, BehaviorSubjects, and operators.
- Expertise in TypeScript (strict mode), HTML5, and modern front-end development patterns.
- Strong experience with Tailwind CSS, SCSS, and CSS custom properties/design tokens.
- Experience with AI-Assisted development (Copilot, GPT, Claude, etc.).
- Comfort working with web components/custom elements and design-system-driven development.
