We are looking for a Data Product Manager to join our growing Product team. You will play a key role in collaborating with a cross-functional team to champion data literacy and drive business intelligence adoption rates while demonstrating your ability to think critically and analytically.
In this role, you will be creating, building, and driving the data roadmap. You will act as the central voice for the business intelligence space, drive data improvements, deliver insights and build sophisticated recommendations that will have a massive impact on the business.
Requirements
- Demonstrates ability to own data analysis, discovery, user interviews, design of key business insights, features and products.
- Understand database structure and how data moves through systems.
- Experience with SQL
- Exposure to data modeling
- Have experience leading projects for database migrations and/or builds; including to build DB to scale.
- Ideal candidate has Salesforce and Looker experience.
- Prior experience building dashboards.
- Exposure to Agile Scrum Methodology, including best practices for writing OKRs and Stories
- Must be able to partner closely and understand nuances between Data & Insights and Data Engineering
- Develop and own the product roadmap for the features based on your research, relationship management, data analysis and business knowledge.
- Become a close partner, advocate, and a go-to authority for internal and external stakeholders.
- Build a deep understanding of users and their jobs to be done and use this information to uncover gaps and enhance product features. Develop frameworks to synthesize this understanding into insights for the business.
- Clearly and concisely present strategic recommendations to senior leaders and explain assumptions to colleagues in other departments.
- Work cross-functionally in an extremely collaborative environment with teams such as engineering, design, product, data, operations, sales, and customer support teams.
- Evaluate key product metrics, usage, NPS, OKRs, KPIs and develop features that help retain and engage all users.
Essential Functions:
- Translate business requirements into well-defined business intelligence requirements - define the data product roadmap to achieve the company's business goals and translate the requirements of large data initiatives into smaller, actionable pieces that can be delivered in increments.
- Shape and design existing and new features and be involved in all stages of the product design. This may include data-driven UX processes that provide explainable, easy-to-understand experiences for different personas.
- Design new capabilities and data sources that increase business value, adoption, and user engagement. And optimize existing processes (i.e., switching from manual ID recognition to automated recognition)
- Drive roadmap execution by working closely with the engineering, data & UX teams to turn data into products with significant value to the ultimate customer.
- Engage with internal stakeholders & customer-facing teams to understand business needs/goals and translate these to flows and use cases.
- Define key performance indicators to evaluate product value and provide the methodologies to accurately measure product’s performance and usage. This also includes ROI models.
- Develop relationships with customers with our ecosystem, to keep abreast of trends and changes in the data and market intelligence.
- Serving data: creating new data pipelines to fulfill other departments' needs.
- Continuous news and research watch: being aware of any new tools, models, and trending topics in the field of data science.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of relevant experience in a health-tech setting
