Product Manager ServiceNow

Global Infrastructure & Engineering (I&E) provides all the global Tech Infrastructure services and tooling supporting our global engineering workforce. Within Tech I&E, the Tribe Global IT Engineering and Operations (GITEO) serves the goal to provide the end-to-end Engineering Journey for our awesome Engineers, to ensure they can securely design, plan, code, build, deploy, test, run and monitor their application(s).

You are the Product Manager of the ServiceNow platform squad. With your solid technical understanding of the infrastructure and engineering services, you are overall responsible for the technical health of your service(s). Together with your colleague Product Manager and the Chief Product Manager you set the technical goals and targets and execute this strategy with your Engineers. Your main responsibility is the overall stability of the ServiceNow platform service.

Key Responsibilities

Together with your squad, you are responsible for the future of the delivery services:

• Providing clarity to the team with clear goals.
• Manage risk on the service/product you provide.
• Manage the delivery roadmap of the product, which will require alignment with other squads, in NL and outside NL.
• Take ownership of the product backlog by creating epics, user stories, and features with business value identified on each item.
• Keep the stakeholders informed on the Product Roadmap and the progress of the feature delivery and upcoming releases via stakeholder demos, newsletters, etc.
• Demonstrate, as and when required, the product capabilities and possible use cases to the new potential consumers.
• Promote a clear product vision that has the customer as the focus, while maintaining a standardized solution.
• Together with the other Product Owners of the Area you will be in several meetings, where you will share your progress, challenges, and lessons learned.
• Work together with our chapter leads to make sure the squad consists of the right people and is performing well.

Requirements

• (Academic) degree in (Information) Technology

• 5years of experience, preferably in international Software Development environments with global reach
• Minimal 3 years of relevant experience (ideally in banking environments) as a Product Manager/ Project Manager / Product Owner
• Ability to lead in a virtual, complex agile/devops environment
• Think in strategic priorities terms - based on professional expertise, be able to develop a long-term vision
• Have strong analytical & judgement skills to recognize key information, identify problem, establish connections and validate before acting
• Demonstrable track record of building and maintaining highly collaborative, flexible, and productive relationships
• Work independently against a high internal quality standard with attention for detail
• Experience within ING Tech and more specifically ING Infra & Engineering is a plus
• Mastery of the English language (written and in speech), Dutch is a plus
