The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Business Operations Specialist to join the Business Operations Commitments team as a Deliveries Manager supporting deliveries across 767 and 777 programs in Everett, WA.
This is a high profile and dynamic position supporting deliveries, integrating directly with Everett Delivery Center (EDC) and Program leadership to support field and customer activities throughout preparations to and including execution of the delivery process. Position requires strong leadership, collaboration, integration, and relationship building skills.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop, establish, and manage customer aircraft schedules through acceptance/delivery
Provide world-class customer service, mitigate delivery risks, and resolve and negotiate customer delivery issues
Analyze and maintain delivery-related data and health metrics; identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Manage compliance to delivery processes/procedures; provide recommendations and inputs for improvements
Coordinate timely approval of delivery commitments, including parts, fuel, and other considerations as required
Support other program EDC delivery activity as needed
Business Operations Duties:
Guide and facilitate the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization
Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel
Coordinate the commitments with internal and external organizations for large scale complex plans to fulfill the broad level strategies established by executive leadership
Identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning and refine the business case
Present plans to executive leadership to gain approval
Ensure follow up action for issue resolution
Represent executive management to internal and external business interests in areas such as communicating business policy, strategy and direction
This position is primarily on-site at the Everett Delivery Center given required interaction with both customers and field personnel and will involve non-standard hours as needed to support delivery requirements.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 + years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management
5 + years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
5 + years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Contracts experience
Experience working with external customers
