Bethany is seeking a passionate and motivated Full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at ETCS and Bethany at Pacific in downtown Everett. Schedule: 9am to 5pm schedule to be agreed, total 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Responsibilities:
To assure the maintenance of the grounds, facility and equipment is in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.
Maintenance Services Functions:
- Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry and mechanical as directed in accordance with established procedures.
- Replace burned out light bulbs, overhead lights, fluorescent lights; rooms call lights, etc. and perform cleaning duties wherever necessary.
- Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
Qualifications
Specific Requirements:
- High School or trade school diploma with courses in shop, mechanics, electricity and general science or equivalent work experience and training.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Physical Requirements:
(with or without the aid of mechanical devices)
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, handicapped, elderly, emotionally upset and at times, hostile people within the facility.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing/able to work long hours in cases of emergency.
- Must be able to assist with the evacuation of residents.
