At Vanguard, we are continually maturing our distribution ecosystem—and strategy development is a core driver of long-term distribution excellence. As the Senior Manager, Head of Strategy Development for our Financial Advisor Services (FAS) business, you will lead the design and evolution of our distribution strategies, ensuring Vanguard remains a trusted partner for advisors nationwide. 

This newly created role reports to the Head of Distribution Strategy & Planning and leads a team responsible for:  

• Long-term distribution strategy planning and roadmap development  

• Assessing the health of our distribution strategy given industry and competitive flows 

• Connecting NPS/VOC insights to strategic health and performance metrics  

• Evaluating the integration of human-led and digital-led distribution strategies  

• Monitoring external trends, competitive intelligence, and advisor needs 

• Supporting business planning and resource allocation  

With over $4 trillion in assets under management across our intermediary channel, Vanguard’s FAS division is already a market leader. This role is critical to ensuring we maintain and grow that position by anticipating industry shifts, aligning resources to strategic priorities, and driving innovation across advisor engagement models.
