About the roleThe Treering team is seeking a multi-talented Creative Director to lead with innovative ideas and has the ability to both conceptualize and execute visually stunning and compelling work. The Creative Director is a hands-on role requiring design expertise, where you'll not only oversee a team of 2-3 creatives but also directly contribute to design and content creation. The ideal candidate will join our dynamic Creative Team and be responsible for creating, managing, and producing design solutions for a variety of uses including website, product design, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, social media content, and events.

What you’ll achieve

• Creative strategy and execution: Develop and execute impactful and successful creative campaigns that elevate the Treering brand across all channels
• Hands-on design: Bring ideas to life by designing key assets yourself, from initial concepts to final graphics, ensuring polished and professional work
• Trendspotting and innovation: Keep informed on design software and marketing/design trends that translate into forward-thinking creative strategies and campaigns
• Team leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 designers, motion graphics artists, or copywriters, fostering collaboration and inspiring big ideas
• Brand consistency: Ensuring designs and content consistently and positively reflect the brand image and company ideals—from concept to omni-channel execution
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to align creative work with overarching business goals
• Project execution: Owning the responsibility of the quality and timely completion of all work projects assigned to members of the creative team

Qualifications to be successful in this role

• Bachelor’s Degree in fields related to graphic design
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably with both agency and in-house expertise and experience working in a startup environment
• Strong business acumen and proven track record of developing and executing successful creative campaigns in B2B and lifestyle
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects and demonstrating expertise in design, branding, and visual storytelling
• The ability to multitask and meet deadlines with attention to detail and flawless execution
• Outstanding follow-up, organization, and time management skills
• Experience across multiple marketing mediums including digital, video, product, print, etc.
• Flexing into hands-on projects; days may be a mix of big-picture thinking, in-the-weeds edits, and quick-turn creative iterations
• Strong collaborator with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively and embrace feedback
• Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), with the ability to independently design and execute creative ideas
• Copywriting experience is a huge plus
• West Coast hours preferred
