2026 Corporate Tax Internship Program
Location: Warren, NJ – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Join Everest’s Corporate Tax department for their 2026 Internship Program! This is an exciting opportunity to receive exposure to the world of Corporate Tax through dynamic training, firsthand business experience, and networking with the Property & Casualty (Re)Insurance industry’s leading experts and experienced finance professionals. A prospective student candidate can expect to build upon their established academic foundations and apply learnings to real world scenarios.
The Program will run for 10 weeks: June 1 – August 7, 2026

Your Impact and Opportunity
Your internship within Corporate Tax is a unique opportunity to combine the experience provided by (Re)Insurance industry exposure, with accounting and auditing exposure which is typically only found through an internship program in public accounting. At Everest, you will have an opportunity to see the internal workings of a global (Re)Insurance company, combined with the skills and knowledge required of an accountant and auditor. During the internship, you can expect to:
Apply your finance and accounting skills to an internship in our Tax Group
You will assist in the completion of U.S. Corporation income tax returns, schedules and supporting calculations.
Assist in the completion of GAAP income tax provision supporting documentation.
Conduct basic tax research, analysis and provide recommendations.
Get involved in one or more Corporate Tax projects, which will provide insight into industry financials and the core role that Corporate Tax plays in organizations.
Present observations to senior leaders with the Corporate Tax Department.
Assist with the project management analysis.
Establish relationships and invest in building trust with business process owners across the organization.
Grow and develop while participating in a variety of leader led, professional and personal development workshops, networking events, and the like
What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications
You are a college sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university, preferably majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field of study.
Successful completion of introductory accounting and/or tax courses is preferred.
Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities.
