As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications

 

• 5+ years as a Publix retail associate and 1+ years of Publix experience at department manager level or higher
• Bachelor of Science degree in an analytical field or equivalent experience
• Specific knowledge of retail policies and procedures, products, equipment, and systems
• Working knowledge of the Publix’ business goals, strategies and key performance indicators KPIs
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Intermediate knowledge of Oasis
• Willingness to travel overnight and for extended periods of time
• Willing to work a variable workweek schedule, which may include working occasional nights and/or weekends and holidays
• Willing to work a minimum of 45 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

 

• 1+ years of Publix experience at assistant store manager level
• Master's degree in Business Administration or other analytical discipline
• Knowledge of Publix data sources
• Knowledge of Data Mining tools and techniques
