Humana Healthy Horizons in Oklahoma is seeking a Senior Process Improvement Professional who analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. The Senior Process Improvement Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.The Senior Process Improvement Professional roles and responsibilities include:
- Researches the best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.
- Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost.
- Determines how new information technologies can support re-engineering business processes.
- May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and re-engineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements.
- Begins to influence department’s strategy.
- Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
- Must reside in the State of Oklahoma.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of Process Improvement experience.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple functional areas and fostering teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation skills).
- Ability to use data and analytical thinking to make fact-based decisions and/or recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active RN Oklahoma State licensure or compact license.
- Experience in healthcare member/provider education and communications.
- Knowledge of NCQA.
- Background in care management and/or utilization management.
Work at Home Guidance
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
- Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Additional Information
- Workstyle: Remote, work from home in the State of Oklahoma.
- Travel: Possibility of up to 10% travel in Oklahoma.
- Core Workdays & Hours: Typically, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm Central Standard Time (CST).
