Job Summary

This position focuses on the technical optimization of digital resources, website performance, and backend SEO elements to ensure maximum site speed, code efficiency, and technical search engine optimization for optimal user experience and search rankings.

Job Responsibilities:

Technical SEO Implementation

• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement optimization strategies
• Optimize website architecture, URL structures, and internal linking for search engines
• Manage technical SEO elements including robots.txt, .htaccess, XML sitemaps, and metadata
• Implement and maintain structured data markup (Schema.org) across the website
• Monitor and resolve crawl errors, duplicate content issues, and indexation problems
• Ensure mobile-first indexing compliance and technical mobile optimization

Website Performance & Speed Optimization

• Conduct detailed site speed audits and implement performance improvements
• Optimize images, compress files, and implement efficient caching strategies
• Minimize and optimize CSS, JavaScript, and HTML code for faster loading times
• Implement Content Delivery Network (CDN) strategies and server-side optimizations
• Monitor Core Web Vitals and ensure compliance with Google's page experience signals
• Collaborate with development teams on technical implementation of performance improvements

Code Efficiency & Technical Implementation

• Review and optimize website code for search engine crawlability and user experience
• Implement technical solutions for international SEO (hreflang, geo-targeting)
• Manage server-side redirects, canonical tags, and technical URL management
• Work with development teams on technical requirements for new features and pages
• Ensure proper implementation of tracking codes and analytics without impacting site speed
• Monitor and optimize database queries and server response times

Generative Search Technical Optimization

• Implement technical optimizations for AI-powered search platforms and chatbots
• Optimize structured data and markup for enhanced AI search result presentation
• Ensure technical compatibility with voice search and conversational AI platforms
• Monitor and adapt technical implementations based on generative search algorithm updates

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, web development, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience
• 6+ years of experience in technical SEO, web development, or website performance optimization
• 4+ years working with enterprise-level websites and complex technical implementations
• Proven experience improving website speed and Core Web Vitals scores
• Expert knowledge of technical SEO best practices and search engine crawling/indexing
• Advanced understanding of website architecture, server configurations, and hosting environments
• Experience with technical SEO for generative search and AI-powered platforms
• Proficiency in implementing structured data and rich snippets
• Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems and their technical SEO implications
• Knowledge of Google PageSpeed Insights, WebPageTest, and Lighthouse
• Advanced Google Analytics and Google Search Console implementation and analysis
• Experience with technical SEO tools (Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Botify, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in agile development environments
