Job Description
This is a newly position in our Global team, and will be responsible for supporting North American PH & P (Product Handling & Packaging) projects at 18 facilities between the USA and Canada. You will also have the opportunity to work in a cross-functional team, interface with different stakeholders, lead different initiatives and very significant projects for North America.

Also, you will:
- Be responsible for providing operational assistance as the primary technical resource for operators, plant maintenance, engineering, and suppliers of product handling and packaging technologies.
- Identify and prioritize manufacturer(s), maintenance needs and schedule for ongoing operational issues and requests.
- Review and evaluate the operational effectiveness of equipment performance, including load build, palletizer configuration and facility production lines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to bottle handling, case palletizer, case packer, glue systems and overall process flow.
- Act as in-house expert on robotic palletizers and assist in identifying and instituting improvements across robotic platforms.
- Will perform regular audits of key product handling and packaging assets and develop/contribute to an obsolescence plan and provide feedback for project improvements related to change and work access.
- Will serve as subject matter expert for the range of equipment in use and update the North American product stock list and packaging plants.
- Will provide training opportunities for AMN America’s North regional operators and maintenance personnel.
- Review and update product handling drawings to reflect actual conditions using vendor drawings, project field notes and on-site investigation.
Travel requirements:
• Ability to travel 50-75% to North America facilities.
Qualifications
About You:
- You love glass and care about sustainability and the planet
- 5+ year experience with product conveying/packaging systems.
- You have Bachelor degree in Engineering, Production, Systems integration, or Maintenance.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Tools
- You’re a good communicator with strong ability to be proactive and show initiative.
- You have strong ability to interact efficiently with a lot of different stakeholders (Plants, Engineering, Suppliers) at different level (from Shopfloor to Leadership).
- You’re a good team player
We support flexible work and this position can be based anywhere in US (EST Time zone).

What we offer:
Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $72,900and $91,1000 USD. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
