Chances are that every single one of those interactions, experiences, was touched by an Adobe product.</p><p>We have a fantastic opportunity for a JAVA Development Engineer to join our Adobe Analytics - Customer Journey Analytics Stitching team based in Bucharest.</p><p>Adobe Analytics is a marketing platform crafted to give business owners real-time insights and historical data about how their audiences behave. It captures data from virtually any channel and source</p><p>CJA allows for collection from all these channels and integrates it into one interface accessible by anyone anywhere, which helps tremendously with efficiency and sales.</p><p></p><p></p><h2><b>What You'll Do </b></h2><p></p><ul><li><p>Contribute to the design and new feature development.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with business partners, architects, technical leads, product management, and analysts to develop high-quality customer-centric solutions.</p></li><li><p>Architect, develop, and optimise data pipelines using Scala/Java, Spark, and Databricks to handle large-scale data processing, according to specifications, while keeping a strong product-first approach.</p></li><li><p>Ensure high availability and reliability of data pipelines, including failover mechanisms, data validation, and monitoring</p></li><li><p>Manage multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with Terraform / Pulumi</p></li><li><p>Optimize resource usage and cost efficiency in multi-cloud deployments</p></li><li><p>Conduct sophisticated investigations to understand the root cause of data misalignment</p></li><li><p>Be part of an Agile, highly collaborative, and passionate team working on new product development.</p></li><li><p>Research various technologies useful for the project and keep in touch with the evolution of the Analytics market.</p></li><li><p>Improve your technical and team working skills.</p></li><li><p>Participate in engineering on-call schedule.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2><b>What You Need to Succeed </b></h2><p></p><ul><li><p>Passionate about computer science, developing software &amp; internet applications</p></li><li><p>Strong algorithm and logical skills, very good problem-solving skills, and ability to investigate to find the root of the problem</p></li><li><p>Proven knowledge of Java <span>technologies/frameworks</span></p></li><li><p>Experience in designing and developing scalable and distributed applications</p></li><li><p>Experience in regards to observability i.e. monitoring, logging, tracing</p></li><li><p>Proven experience with OOD and processes for development and testing</p></li><li><p>Proficient in standard methodologies for writing code that is maintainable and secure</p></li><li><p>Ability to research and become proficient in new technologies</p></li><li><p>Committed to the highest levels of quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness both in testing and code development</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in scrum terminology and processes</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2><b>Nice to Have</b></h2><p></p><ul><li><p>Experience with data technologies and Typelevel ecosystems, i.e. <span>Hadoop/HBase/MapReduce/Iceberg,</span> Kafka; operational experience with these it's considered a plus</p></li><li><p>Scala and Spark knowledge</p></li><li><p>Experience in working with infrastructure, i.e. cloud providers, containers, and orchestrators is a plus</p></li><li><p>Experience with build management tools, preferably Jenkins</p></li><li><p>Experience with monitoring solutions: New Relic, Datadog, Runscope, Prometheus, Grafana.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>As our many awards will tell you, at Adobe you’ll be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized around the world.
