Description Overview

Perrigo is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director of Operational Technology (OT) Security to lead and enhance our OT security initiatives across our global manufacturing and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the drug manufacturing and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors, with a proven track record of securing complex OT environments. 

Scope of the Role

  • Develop and Execute OT Security Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive OT security strategy aligned with Perrigo's business objectives, leveraging industry standards such as NIST CSF and IEC 62443. 
  • Standardize OT Security Practices: Establish and enforce OT security standards across all manufacturing sites to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements. 
  • Incident Response and Management: Develop and maintain OT-specific incident response playbooks, conduct regular tabletop exercises, and lead incident response efforts to mitigate risks and ensure rapid recovery. 
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Build and manage a risk portfolio for OT environments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as FDA, GMP, and other industry standards. 
  • Secure by Design: Lead initiatives to integrate security into the design and deployment of OT systems, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats. 
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT, to implement security controls that do not disrupt production. Provide leadership and coaching to OT security teams. 
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key vendors and stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality security solutions and services. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest OT security trends and technologies, continuously improving Perrigo's OT security posture. 

Experience Required

  • Proven track record of developing and executing OT security strategies in large-scale, global manufacturing environments
  • Experience with industry standards such as NIST CSF, IEC 62443, and the Purdue Model
  • Demonstrated success in leading OT security initiatives, including incident response, risk management, and compliance
  • Experience in securing highly automated manufacturing plants and implementing advanced network segmentation and access controls
  • Prior Experience as a VP or C-level in Cybersecurity for a large global organization
  • Strong technical acumen in OT security, including knowledge of ICS, SCADA, and other industrial control systems
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with C-suite executives and board members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • These skills are typically acquired through the completion of a Master's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Information Security or a closely related field; combined with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in OT Security, with a focus on the drug manufacturing and CPG sectors
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications
