About the Role

The Senior Benefits Relationship Manager oversees complex benefits administration, including Medicare and claims resolution, while serving as the primary client contact. The role focuses on consulting, policy management, process improvements, issue resolution, and ensuring client satisfaction through extensive expertise in benefits and Medicare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Working with high profile participants, carriers, and other client vendors to resolve complex claim and access to care issues
• Analyzing and reconcile data from multiple sources
• Using knowledge of medical and Medicare plans to proactively consult regarding possible issue and ensure accurate administration
• Owning communication of escalations, risks, issues (including E&Os), and priorities across external and internal stakeholders
• Demonstrating solid understanding of client urgency and attentiveness to timeline requirements. Ability to work in a dynamic and changing work environment with quick turnaround
• Consulting effectively with clients on core delivery and new projects
• Managing relationship by working directly with all levels of client contacts, attorneys, and high-profile participants
• Implementing and monitor standard operations practices for the client; adherence. Use of best practices, improvement plans, and adjustments to operations staffing
• Managing the team with focus on project delivery, seamless participant resolution support. Review of team’s work to ensure high quality delivery and continuous improvement
• Performing all assigned weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks.

Requirements

• Able to exercise solid processional judgement in analyzing business issues and exploring resolution options. Ability to identify define problems, collect data, establish, facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Able to quickly master and apply new concepts
• Project and client management experience
• Excel – intermediate to advanced skill level, Bachelor's or equivalent work experience
• Possess verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to lead effective discussions with clients and internal teams.
• Possess Health Welfare benefits and Managerial experience. Analytical problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to Build relationships, assesses performance, provides career and development coaching, and improves colleague engagement
• Possess analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
