Fort Bend County is recruiting for Youth Employment Program (YEP) Site Coordinators to monitor the YEP summer participants that are engaged in work at various facilities and office locations.  The Site Coordinators will provide support to departments and will instruct the youth workers that are working as temporary employees during the Summer Youth Employment Program. 4 positions available.

Job Description

Fort Bend County is recruiting for Youth Employment Program (YEP) Site Coordinators to monitor the YEP summer participants that are engaged in work at various facilities and office locations.  The Site Coordinators will provide support to departments and will instruct the youth workers that are working as temporary employees during the Summer Youth Employment Program.  There are 4 positions available.

  • Monitors and visits sites regularly to ensure the program operates in accordance with County requirements and the services are provided in an effective and efficient manner. 

  • Supervises all Youth Workers in this program through regular visits, meetings and continuous communication to offer support and guidance. 

  • Facilitates programs and training to the Youth Workers as needed. 

  • Communicates and coordinates with other Supervisors, Department Leaders, and other participants as needed to implement all aspects of the program. 

  • Prepares reports including statistical data, progress reports and incident reports to Human Resources. 

  • Maintains and organizes reports regarding participants, worksites, issues and progress of program. 

  • Suggests any corrections for issues encountered.   

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 

  • Two years job related experience working with High School age children and young adults. 

  • Minimum 21 years of age.  

  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions.  

  • Good verbal and written communication, and organizational skills. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees. 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs, typing and time management skills. 

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License and insurance is required. 

  • Good reliable transportation to travel to all sites. 

WORK LOCATION: Different sites in Fort Bend County area.

 

SALARY: $20.00 per hour, up to 40 hours per week

PROGRAM DURATION:  Temporary, approximately 9 Weeks

APPLICATION PERIOD:  Begins January 13, 2026 & Ends March 17, 2026
