This is a full-time salaried position: Monday – Friday, 1st shift.
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain is accountable for the safety, quality, delivery, cost process within Clinical Packaging Supply Chain operations. Duties include daily oversight of GMP Storage operations, Distribution/PreDistribution, Receiving Dock, Returns/Destruction and Global Trade compliance.
Responsible for coordinating the storage, transportation and delivery of packaged goods. Daily oversight of a team of managers, supervisors and associates. Includes resolution of problems/issues with internal and external clients. Provide leadership to a multi-team department that focuses on motivation, recognition and employee development. Prepare performance reviews for direct reports and ensure subordinate managers and supervisors complete reviews for their direct reports.
As a key management team member, the Senior Manager, Supply Chain will also be required to implement the site and company’s strategic plan as well as the evaluation and analysis of the business objectives.
Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The facility is the commercial manufacturing Center-of-Excellence for accelerated development programs and roller compaction.
The Kansas City facility is also a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our large molecule analytical team has over 25 years of experience providing broad-based and orthogonal analytical CMC services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects. We provide support for drug substance, drug product, and intermediates for both innovator and biosimilar/biobetter products.
Our facility also offers comprehensive clinical packaging services including clinical supply management, package engineering, clinical manufacturing, primary and secondary packaging, global distribution and logistics, and return/destruction services. The facility features an isolated potent suite and DEA Schedule I-V controlled drug storage to handle even your most challenging products.

The Role:
Monitors daily operation of GMP Warehouse and Distribution/Logistics including direction of daily activities as necessary and actively assist, resolution of problems/issues with internal and external quality
Approve new SOPs and forms for Supply Chain Operations
Assign and prioritize audit remedial tasks to team members and follow up on completion status
Ensure the Supply Chain teams conducts all activities in a safe and professional manner consistent with corporate and department policies, procedures, SOPs, GLPs, and cGMPs
Provide input for associate’s performance reviews for assigned associates
Participate in performance reviews and provide feedback in both oral and written form to associates
Maintains market intelligence related to clinical supply chain and maintains streamlined and well-understood business processes and systems within distribution
Develops transportation and warehousing strategies for new products, and makes appropriate recommendations to senior management
At times, responding to inquiries outside of normal operating hours required
