Position Description
The Emerging Talent Program is designed to develop the next generation of leaders in professional sports. Our mission is to attract top, early-career talent and provide meaningful, hands-on experience within the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization.

Participants do more than observe; they contribute. Interns gain real-world experience, insider access, and a comprehensive understanding of how a professional football organization operates. The program is intentionally structured to help participants build upon their academic foundation while defining clear, career-focused goals.

Each intern is placed within a specific department while also being encouraged to explore the broader business of football through networking opportunities, a Capstone Project, and our Internship Learning Series. Throughout the program, interns collaborate with team executives and build professional relationships that extend well beyond their internship experience.

This is a paid, hourly internship running from July 13, 2026, through June 25, 2027.


Essential Functions
• The Community Impact Intern will play a supporting role in the day-to-day operations of the Community Impact department. Responsibilities include:
• Managing tracking and fulfillment of in-kind donation requests
• Executing CI events, and other non-profit-related and community events/visits
• Support for Affinity Group engagement and assisting with players’ charitable endeavors

This position does not manage employees.

Strong written and verbal communication skills


Additional Skills & Abilities
• This individual must possess a passion for philanthropy and demonstrate a willingness to contribute to a variety of programs.
• Ability to interact and maintain relationships with key leaders in the Tampa Bay community
• Applicants must exhibit strong knowledge of the community outreach efforts of the Buccaneers and the National Football League
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Strong professional demeanor


Experience & Education
• Bachelor’s or graduate degree
• Experience in the sports industry preferred


Technical Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or comparable tools


Work Environment
Extended evening, weekend work hours sometimes required
Must be comfortable working in a high intensity setting, meeting tight deadlines and delivering quality results
Required to work all home and some away games


Physical Fitness Standards
Computer and desk work a significant part of daily activities
