Development Engineering Intern

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

§  Assist engineering in development of new organ preservation systems.

§  Build and test engineering prototypes and document results.

§  Design test fixtures using Solidworks CAD.

§  Work with cross functional teams including electrical engineering, software engineering, manufacturing, and clinical.

§  Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned/required.                                      

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in a Mechanical or similar engineering program (BME, PE, IE) with 1 year of study.

§  Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

§  Comfortable using using power and tools.

§  Reliable transportation and ability to work 24 hours per week.
