Job Description
Gilead's mission is to discover, develop, and deliver therapies that will improve the lives of patients with life-threatening illnesses worldwide. As the Associate Director, Market Access, Data Strategy and Analytics you will report to the Director, Market Access Cross Portfolio Data Strategy & Innovation and will have the responsibility to manage our cloud database analytics program. This person is responsible for overseeing the managed markets analytics platform (MMAP) program and execute on the vision. He / she will work with various teams within Market Access Strategy and across the US Commercial organization to understand the managed markets related data / dashboard needs and fulfill these needs within the framework agreed upon in working with IT, vendors, and legal. This person will chair the business champions meeting to provide MMAP updates, collect feedback from users for improvement, and work with IT on execution.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
Program manager for the Managed Markets Analytics Platform (MMAP) overseeing all the processes and making sure plans are executed
Work with stakeholders (IT, Managed Markets and Trade account managers, Data Aggregators, etc.) to understand the process, identify areas of improvement, and champion change
Monitor data flow model, governance, processes etc. and ensure problems are identified proactively
Work with Trade, Patient Support, Contracting Operations, and Analytics teams closely to get feedback on MMAP and collaboratively work towards industry-standard data infrastructure
Deliver data quality metrics, data quality management processes, and bring transparency to users
Conduct needs assessment periodically to keep Gilead Managed Markets Data assets and the analytics program most up to date
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business
Previous experience in tool development / building dashboards
Previous experience with Pharmaceutical Managed Markets programs and data assets is desired
Intermediate level SQL / SAS and Tableau skills desired
Experience building databases / IT infrastructure
Able to influence cross functional teams, refine current data strategy / plan, and execute towards an industry leading cloud based managed markets data infrastructure
Ability to lead the team in an inclusive manner, identify issues proactively, and update the organization on the path forward to clear barriers and for innovation
