Opportunity details :
- Robust referral network from a strong base of primary care clinicians and patients within the Sutter Health system
- No call obligations
- Multidisciplinary collaboration with psychologists, nurse practitioners, therapists, social workers and other clinicians
- Focus on outpatient care, with attention to psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, risk assessments, psychotropic medication management and crisis intervention.
- Opportunities for program development, quality improvement initiatives, and teaching (if desired)
- Leadership pathways for clinicians interested in clinical or administrative roles
- Integrated EMR (EPIC)
- Strong office support staff
Requirements
- Board certified or nationally certified
- Nurse Practitioner: Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred
- Physician Assistants: additional training, education in psychiatry preferred
