Associate Director of Admissions - Chicago Regional Representative

Specific responsibilities:
Follow-up with all prospects, inquiries, applicants, and accepted students and their families.
Travel within the territory for recruitment purposes.
Implement a regional recruitment plan for the Chicago Area.
Represent the college at regional college fairs, high schools, and conferences. Work with counselors and schools to include St. Norbert College in their college events and presentations.
Create regional off-campus activities to help engage students and their families.
Attend on-campus admission and divisional events and programs, and meet with students and families during busy visit days and weeks on campus.
Work directly with the Dean of Enrollment on admission related events. Work with faculty, staff, and students to gain support for recruitment events in the Chicago area.
Determine admissibility and scholarship eligibility for applicants.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
3 years experience in admission or related sales work.
Valid Driver’s License.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert College.
Self-starter, capable of working independently, multitasking, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Apps, and adaptable to learning new programs and technologies for communication and productivity.
Willing and able to travel for territory visits and campus events.
Skilled in professional interactions, conflict resolution, and delivering excellent customer service.
Experienced in organizing events and delivering presentations to large audiences (>100).
Leads by example through professional and ethical behavior.
Working Conditions:
Regular work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Travel to the St. Norbert College campus is expected throughout the year for programs, meetings, and college events. Some travel, nights, and weekends are required (10 - 15 weeks annually).
