Legend Biotech is seeking an Associate Director, Nurse Marketing as part of the Marketing team based in Somerset, NJ.

Role Overview

Legend Biotech is seeking an Associate Director, Nurse Marketing, to lead a wide range of nurse- and patient-focused marketing activities to drive the successful US commercialization and potential future indication launch of CARVYKTI. These activities include leading the development and execution of nurse and patient marketing strategy and multi-channel tactics, customer engagement, congress planning, clinical educator team engagement, and budget management—all while partnering closely with cross-functional and cross-collaboration colleagues to support a successful launch. Crucial to this role is the ability to work closely with all internal staff and external collaborators, anticipate needs, excel in a fast-paced environment, and work well under pressure while remaining flexible. The Associate Director must have a proactive, efficient, highly collaborative and problem-solving approach to a high volume of tasks.

Responsibilities include ensuring confidentiality of information and sensitive documents by following operational procedures, exercising sound judgment, and helping to create and maintain a favorable image for Legend Biotech. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is personable, exceedingly well-organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize and quickly understand and process requests, dedicated to handling all duties in a professional, helpful manner while meeting time-sensitive deadlines. In addition, excellent computer skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to exercise diplomacy, tact, and sensitivity are key characteristics. Prior marketing experience in a pharma/biotech environment, especially experience supporting a commercial launch, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Co-lead, with Johnson & Johnson collaboration counterparts, US nurse and patient-focused marketing strategy and tactics to support commercialization and a successful potential future indication launch
  • Lead creation, drive execution, and manage day-to-day activities around key US nurse and patient-focused marketing initiatives, including liaising with clinical educator team.
  • Lead customer engagement and congress initiatives in support of nurse and patient-focused marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of nurse focused advisory boards, to gain insights.
  • Lead the development and execution of non-branded and branded digital and non-personal promotion initiatives.
  • Contribute to content development for field force training and national meetings.
  • Maintain internal systems to support marketing project initiation, milestone tracking, budget reconciliation, and project completion.
  • Coordinate, consolidate, and apply feedback from various Medical, Legal and Regulatory committee meetings associated with the review and approval of marketing materials/assets.
  • Support critical market insights, market research, and business intelligence initiatives to support US launch; liaise with market insights colleagues to provide input into and feedback on such initiatives.
  • Assist in budgets and reconciliation while working closely with finance personnel to ensure compliance with financial processes.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with company executives, staff, the public and others encountered in the course of work.

Requirements

  • A college degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience within pharmaceutical/biotech US marketing, performing
