What You’ll Take On:

Trademark & Copyright

• Communicate, coordinate with, and support in-house and/or outside counsel to diligence trademark registration filings and renewals worldwide.
• Conduct in-house trademark clearance searches and prepare clearance reports for attorney and client review.
• Correspond with attorneys and business teams concerning trademark clearance, trademark applications, trademark registration maintenance, and trademark usage.
• Support attorneys to provide guidance regarding proper use of trademarks.
• Prepare materials for copyright applications and coordinate with outside counsel to file applications.

Enforcement

• Monitor online infringement of T2’s copyrights and trademarks on social media, e-commerce stores, and other online sites.
• Manage copyright and trademark takedowns and escalations, and serve as one of the primary legal contacts for IP enforcement matters.
• Maintain databases used to track, report and analyze data in support of online enforcement activities. Identify emerging trends and threats and make recommendations for improving enforcement efforts.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years of experience as a trademark paralegal with high-level responsibilities on a global trademark portfolio.
• Experience as a paralegal in-house working in entertainment, technology, or entertainment-adjacent industry. Experience with games a plus, but not required.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $98,400 and $145,620 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
