So, what will you be doing as a VRC Operator?
- Operator VRC Machines efficiently.
- Responsible for production and quality on all VRC Machines under worker’s operation or in worker’s group.
- Visually inspect every unit for non-conforming product such as missing clips and misapplied, loose, or missing coils.
- Hang units in proper location within proper tag location.
- Initial tag identification tags.
- Must be able to identify and load proper clips on VRC and hand stations.
- Must be able to clear all jams from VRC and hand stations.
- Assist Maintenance personnel in identifying mechanical/electrical problems that may hinder performance, effect quality, or reduce life of the equipment.
- Must clip any unit at the request of team leader.
- Conform to all Quality/Safety requirements and procedures.
- Participate in training programs.
- Follow all written procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
- Keep a clean and orderly workplace.
- Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Process.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Sufficient dexterity and mechanical understanding to operate an automated machine.
- Ability to understand instruction both verbal and written.
- Sufficient aptitude to identify proper product quality.
- Basic understanding of and full compliance with all standard safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and use.
