We are looking for a Associate Software Engineer, Android - Quick Commerce (all genders) to join the Pelican Local Shops squad, on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. 

Contribute to the creation of our next-generation platform that aims to provide the best tools for our partners working in supermarkets, local stores, pharmacies, and more. Come to work with us and make the daily tasks of our partners easier, ensuring the best experience in fulfilling grocery orders.

Your mission: 

• Work on a platform that helps local business around the world with their daily tasks in a seamless and efficient way

• Ensure high code quality, testing, and engineering best practices, and overall product performance

• Develop multi-module applications to ensure code reusability and maintainability

• Write comprehensive unit tests and instrumental tests to ensure product quality and reliability

• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment process

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development, and share knowledge within the team

Your heroic skills:

• Native mobile app development experience using Kotlin

• Strong foundation in Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, software design)

• Working understanding of architecture patterns, for example, MVVM, MVP, clean architecture etc

• Expertise in writing unit tests

• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes

• Full professional English proficiency
