Position DescriptionRedhorse Corporation is looking to hire a highly driven senior business analyst to assist our client to improve business efficiency. The ideal candidate will be providing hands on strategic and tactical advisory services to improve the efficacy of our client’s CPIC process while reducing complexity and burden.

The ideal candidate will be providing hands on strategic and tactical advisory services to improve the efficacy of our client’s CPIC process while reducing complexity and burden.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Making recommendations for improvements to the project and portfolio management policies, procedures, and processes using industry best practices in CPIC and portfolio management.
- Serve as primary point of contact between Agency and Components regarding Component CPIC Activities to ensure effective communication between both sets of organizations
- Provide directed advisory and coaching support to Components CPIC staff and key stakeholders on CPIC processes and programmatic issues;
- Review, assessment and recommendations and Agency scoring process for Annual Major Business Case submissions and Non-Major Business Cases for quality and completion as needed;
- Review of monthly submissions for quality and completion; approve Baseline Change Requests
- Participate in bi-monthly Agency CPIC meetings
- Review and update Agency CPIC guidance as changes occur from OMB and other oversight bodies.
- Perform various ad hoc analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years total experience
- CTBME® certification- if you are not already certified, you will have to acquire this certification
- Knowledge of the DHS Department level CPIC process
- Experience in managing investments from a portfolio perspective
- Ability to pass client security clearance requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong consulting (4+ years consulting experience), writing, and client handling skills
- Prior experience in a Federal Government Consulting role
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present a polished, professional, and diplomatic image to clients
- Strong analytical skills – assertive and inquisitive manner that allows the individual to take indirectly related and orally communicated information and transform it into actionable information
- Experience at DHS Headquarters or Component
