Summer Camp Staff

Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): 

The Summer Camp Staff supports all aspects of camp including coaching and instruction, supervision, recreational activities, coaching staff, and camp operations.

Organization, leadership, coaching, instruction, and time management.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Provide sport-specific instruction and training under the direction of the camp lead. 
• Organize and/or assist with daily activities.
• Provide supervision of campers at assigned activities, both instructional and recreational, for the duration of the camp session(s).
• Be responsive and reachable throughout the duration of camp, and on-campus.
• Apply basic youth development principles in working with students through inclusivity, communication, relationship development, and respect.
• Be aware of and implement all safety guidelines. Follow and uphold all security rules and procedures. Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers.
• Interact with people from a diversity of backgrounds and experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
