Full Time

Wages starting at $28.25/hr. Experienced candidates may be eligible to start at higher pay. Pay will be determined based on experience and skill set.

Rogers Group is seeking an Experienced Welder / Industrial Maintenance Tech for our Roving Maintenance Crew servicing our operations throughout Indiana. The position will be based out of our Bloomington Quarry. Candidates with a CDL are preferred. This position will primarily be a daytime position but will be on call for emergency repairs. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

• Routine equipment/plant maintenance
• Involved with plant improvement projects
• Inspect and perform daily repairs and maintenance on plant
• Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment
• Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management
• Operate equipment and tools with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance experience necessary
• Must have clean driving record as well as have a CDL or be willing to obtain one.
• Must be willing to work overtime, as well as outside in a variety of climates.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a TTL Crane Certification and Rigging Certification. Candidates with this certification are preferred. 
• Must be willing to work underground.
• Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
• Ability to operate a man lift.
• Arc welding experience required.
• Experience in steel erection/destruction i.e., welding, cutting, and fitting preferred.
• Experience working with crushers, conveyors, and screens a plus.
• Previous experience working in a rock quarry preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
