Duties and Responsibilities includes:
- Follow established curriculum and deliver the provided lesson plans.
- Establish professional relationships with students and parents.
- Instruct students in the basic skills needed for daily living and independent living.
- Provide feedback to parents on their children's performance.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support the school in its efforts to improve student outcomes.
- Maintain a clean classroom and comply with health and safety regulations.
Salary: Up to $190.00 per day
Responsibilities
- Help cultivate artistic development through structure learning and creative support.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of each Student.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Appropriate criminal record as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigations
- Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate each child's learning and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and accomplishments.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and progress reports for each child.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree (Must have)
- Valid teaching certificate or license (Nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of the Ohio Department of Education model curriculum and Ohio’s New Learning Standards
- Previous experience working with young students in a educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and other staff members.
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
