With us, you will shape a career that is truly forward-facing with many amazing opportunities and offerings to match.</p><p>But there’s more work to be done – that’s why we need you to join us.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Statkraft is pursuing a strategy to become an industrial developer and operator of offshore wind in Northern Europe, and is building a portfolio and organisation to deliver this. We take a market-centric approach to our activities, building positions where we have complementary skills in development, route to market, and operations and maintenance. We will build scale to be competitive and continue to pursue new opportunities together with our partners. </p><p>We have a strong and growing portfolio of projects in Ireland ,and are determined to play a major role in the growth of offshore wind in Norway, initially through the bidding process in Sørlige Nordsjø II (together with Aker and BP) and Utsira Nord (together with Aker and Ocean Winds). The increased ambition by Norwegian Government to develop in total 30 GW offshore wind in Norway by 2040 represents a large opportunity for Statkraft. We will also pursue an industrial role in Ireland and explore opportunities in other markets. </p><p>The Responsibilities for the Lead Offshore Foundations Engineer include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Manage foundation structural engineering and optimisation in all phases of projects, green field, early phase conceptual design, FEED, detailed design, construction, transport, installation and operation</li><li>Cooperation with all relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., geophysical, geotechnical, turbine, electrical, value engineering) in the design optimisation </li><li>Definition of design parameters for foundation engineering</li><li>Setting specifications and follow-up in tender processes </li><li>Manage foundation engineering capabilities (in-house and hired) in relevant projects</li><li>Manage Statkraft’s engagement in offshore wind foundations research and development </li><li>Contribute to the build-up of Statkraft’s wider technical management capabilities in offshore wind</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Higher education within relevant area, Master’s degree or higher</li><li>Chartered engineer status or equivalent</li><li>Extensive experience with engineering, design and structural analysis of fixed offshore foundations, preferable from the offshore wind industry</li><li>Familiar with relevant industry standards</li><li>Experience with certifying authorities</li><li>Working experience from cross functional teams and multi-company projects</li><li>Technical interest and drive to develop capabilities and processes</li><li>Relationship builder with the ability to collaborate constructively with business and functional leaders </li><li>High personal integrity and high ethical standards </li><li>Strong HSS understanding and commitment</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>A career with Statkraft is a career filled with purpose – meaning that every employee is not just making a living, they are making a real difference to the planet, our communities, and the future.
