Consultant / Senior Consultant - IT Regulatory

Job Purpose
We are currently looking for an IT governance, IT regulatory and information security/resilience professional to join a growing and diverse consulting team with a specific focus on IT regulatory excellence, system of governance and IT audit. Our consulting expert team focuses on:
- Regulatory compliance management: Driving compliance assessments and defining implementation strategies focusing on resilience and information security, ensuring alignment with industry standards and evolving regulations.
- Risk mitigation and process enhancement: Identify vulnerabilities within information security infrastructures, propose mitigation strategies, and provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance, minimizing potential risks for clients.
- Stakeholder management and training: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing comprehensive recommendations and training to enhance client understanding and implementation of regulatory requirements in resilience and information security.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor and support the Allianz organizational entities to efficiently implement regulatory requirements and enable them to lead their journey towards digital resilience effectively.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance measures into existing operations and systems.
- Advise clients on potential risks and vulnerabilities in their information security infrastructure and propose mitigation strategies.
- Identify and analyze IT regulatory and IT compliance trends and requirements. Assess their impact and develop effective solutions for implementation on procedural and operational level.
- Provide training and workshops to client teams to enhance their understanding of regulatory compliance in resilience and information security.
- Develop and implement tailored compliance solutions to align with evolving regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA).
- Work in a team with Allianz Consulting experts who will support you in realizing your full potential.
- Contribute to pitches under the guidance of your experienced team members.
- Get involved in various Allianz Consulting initiatives, such as social projects, processes improvement, research, trainings, among others.
Key Requirements/ Skills/ Experience
- University degree in computer science, business / economics, accounting, legal with focus on technology
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in the areas of IT resilience, IT governance, IT regulatory and/or information security in a line function or consulting role.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Desire to learn fast and motivation to constantly develop
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mind set
- Strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
- Pronounced ability to adapt and act as a responsible, solution-oriented team player
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills with conceptual and implementation experience
- High level of consulting and project mgmt. skills
- Very good understanding of digital business processes and complex stakeholder environment
- For the location in Milan: fluent in written and spoken Italian and English
Nice to have
- Your good command of German language that you will use when working with our German clients.
- Experience and knowledge of financial, insurance business and technology related regulation such as VAIT/DORA
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: Process design, Information Security, Cyber Risk, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, IT-Operations, Continuity Management, Operational Resilience
- International work experience
- Desired but not mandatory: Qualifications in risk management or internal control systems (ICS) (e.g., CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, CET).
- Knowledge of industry standards or best practices e.g. SDLC, COBIT, COSO 2013, ITIL, ISO 22316:2017, ISO 22301:2019, C5
