2nd Shift: Slaughter Plant

Dept. 1103 Quality Assurance Technician

Pay Rate:  $ 16.75 per hour 

Shift Time: QA time is rotated weekly as listed below

 

Early Week - Mainline/ Salvage 2:30pm until we kill out (it varies)

 

Late Week – Post Chill/ Cut-Up 4:45pm until End of shift (it varies)

 

 

**Position requires High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and will interview with department manager. Please bring proof to interview. **

Summary   Performs daily quality testing in the cut-up process of the slaughter facility by performing the following duties.                                                    

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Performs testing using approved procedures.

 

Creates records in a manner that meets quality standards.

 

Reports all important events to Lead and/or Quality Supervisor in a timely manner.

 

Responsible for any and all directives set forth by Senior Quality Management.
