This position is responsible for directing and managing the day-to-day financial advising activities of a team of licensed Financial Advisors. This team is focused on cultivating long term relationships through educating and advising on topics to help a retirement plan participant become best prepared for retirement and meet their holistic financial goals. This is a great opportunity to manage and develop financial advisors, and also work at the strategic level, developing and evolving Empower's workplace experience around advice and wellness.
In this role, you will manage a team of licensed Financial Advisors whose primary goal is to help plan participants achieve their short term and long-term financial goals, while driving increased customer engagement, Net Promotor Scores, and referrals for long term relationships with Personal Wealth Advisors. The Manager will be held accountable for meeting bimonthly and annual goals.
What You Will Do:
- Grow and develop a team of Financial Advisors that help customers on a broad range of financial topics.
- Develop and monitor interaction and advisory standards to enhance customer interaction and build lasting relationships.
- Create and sustain a top performing inbound and outbound call center environment to ensure established goals and quotas for the department are reached.
- Cultivate and maintain a highly motivated culture that develops Advisors and helps them grow their careers.
- Ensure that incentive plans drive the required outcome.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and best practice training to ensure maximum lead generation and high closure rates.
- As the supervisory principal of assigned representatives, ensure that all supervisory controls are in place and regular audits are performed and documented to ensure broker dealer requirements are met.
- Field escalated issues from representatives, clients, and participants. Identify trends in escalated issues and proactively address staff and customers.
What You Will Bring:
- FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65/66 registrations required within corporate-established timelines
- FINRA Fingerprinting required
- CSA (Certified Senior Advisor) designation within corporate-established timelines
- 5 years successful asset growth experience in a remote environment, or successful experience managing financial advisors in a branch or firm
- Demonstrated knowledge of a wide variety of planning topics.
- Solid practical understanding of internal policies and procedures as well as our product offerings and the mutual fund industry
What Will Set You Apart:
- Fully licensed candidates are strongly preferred
- CFP preferred, but not required
- Degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading a team of Advisors in a remote work environment.
