Salary Pay Range: $73,488 - $105,000

YOUR ROLE
Support compliance to usage of Operational systems and respective enhancements.  Support Station Process (including inherent policies and procedures) compliance and improvement.  Be the direct link between the business leaders and end users. 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:
  • Understand current levels of compliance to Operation processes and systems usage and enforce it by providing specific coaching and defining actions (together with the sites) to close existent gaps. Regular briefing on station process compliance to Regional BL leaders and have them enforce actions if required.
  • Understand current levels of compliance to Station Process (including inherent policies and procedures) and enforce it by providing specific coaching and defining actions (together with the sites) to close existent gaps.
  • Provide clarification to end users in regards to Station Process and Operational Systems, answering specific queries, sharing good practices and communicating changes and new developments. Provide specific training, based on the end users need (based on global training modules).
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the operational systems, assess changes proposed by the end users and create (or review) change request. Submit and discuss CR with the BL at Regional and Global level (and eventually with IT). Follow-up respective implementation.

  • Responsible for UAT, help develop test scripts and provide pro-active feedback to the IT organization.
  • Create local WI – SP and System- upon approval of the CR / Exception from the Global Team or for the WI already defined as ‘local’ in the SP, to explain how the specific tasks are to be performed by the end user. Support the creation of global WIs, if required by the BL Global team.
  • On request, support Business Implementation / BD in regards to customer implementation, to evaluate specific process / systems requirements.
  • Establish efficient two ways communication between the BL (Regional and Global) and the end users – sharing the processes, news, and training, with the users and highlighting to BL the issues, risks, suggestions for improvement from the end users.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS – Supply Chain, Engineering, Management, Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations (end user of SP and operational systems) – Air or Ocean, or both, of which min 2 years with CEVA / 2 years of OFS experience. 
  • Training experience – proven experience training small groups.
  • Change management knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with process engineering and improvement methodologies.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills:

  • Very good knowledge of Air or / and Ocean operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of specific Air or Ocean processes and related tools.
  • Full understanding of Matrix OFS functionalities on all modules.
  • Full understanding of other Operational Systems, e.g. Navigator, One View, OneSan, EDI processing, etc.
  • Proven coaching capabilities at desk level.
  • Good knowledge of local laws and regulations, related to Air & Ocean operations.
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop individuals and teams.
