POSITION SUMMARY

An Andretti Grill Support is responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Anticipate and respond to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
• Greet Guest and take orders within Andretti guidelines, always exceeding Guest expectations.
• Prepare standard drinks, pours wine and beer quickly, accurately, and without waste.
• Deliver food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards.
• Collect payment for all items purchased and consumed and operate the Point-of-Sale system with ease.
• Assist with stocking plates, napkins, silverware, glasses etc and performing side work.
• Maintain an organized work area and proactively cleans and resets tables.
• Properly disposes of broken glassware.
• Follow proper safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local health regulations.
• Sufficiently handle and accurately count money.
• Check identification of any guest consuming alcohol.
• Follow all state and company guidelines regarding beverage service.
• Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
• Assist with Guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
• Work as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments.
• Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions. 
• Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
• Be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
• Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
• Follow proper uniform guidelines according to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games.
• Display excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
