The Opportunity
This position works out of our Woodridge location in Little Canada, MN in the SH division.
Structural Heart Business Mission: Why We Exist.
Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.
As the Associate R&D Engineer, you'll have the chance to work under direct supervision developing engineering product designs or processes (which may include assembly, test, fixtures, tooling and/or software). Performs engineering tests in support of design qualification. Documents test procedures and results in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
What You’ll Work On
- Design products and/or processes under direct supervision of more senior engineer or managers.
- Performs tests per written protocols and accurately records results in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Generates engineering documentation of design output.
- Responsible for performing assignments in accordance with Abbott standards.
- Works under direct supervision.
- Reports to a more senior engineer or manager.
- Contact is primarily within department.
- Typically works on small assignments involving a single engineering discipline (eg. mechanical, electrical, software).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 0-2 years of related work experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

The base pay for this position is
$50,000.00 – $100,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
