OnsiteCollins Aerospace is hiring a Program Coordinator. This position works in a supporting function to the larger Program Management team with program team and functional managers to support the delivery of customer the programs. Gathers, collates, analyzes and reports metrics to leadership. May support or lead special projects within the business.
This role is onsite in Winston-Salem. Relocation assistance may be available.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of the Program Directors, Program Managers and Functional Managers to establish key program and business metrics and agreed reporting formats
- Collate, analyze and maintain data to create program metrics and performance plans
- Prepare status reports for the program management and finance departments to track revenue, data deliverables, on-dock dates, site transfers, capital expenditures, change requests, BFE management, and engineering changes; supports preparation of project reports for management and customers
- Maintain interdepartmental tracking tools for program management and finance to utilize in order to maintain contractual accuracy for all seating programs and to safeguard against financial revenue mistakes
- Support management by developing plans, time frames, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project
- Challenge data accuracy and determine cause for metrics outside anticipated parameters
- Present information and metrics to internal meetings
- Undertake ad hoc information gathering, preparation, presentation, and reporting as required
- Function as subject matter expert for departmental processes and procedures; advising other staff as required
- Process and procedure development
- Promote efficiencies and support specification development for new PM tools
- Assist Program Managers during major milestone meetings
Qualifications / Experience Needed:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Preferred Qualifications:
- Superior organizational skills
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Able to anticipate needs and shows initiative
- Proficient in MS Office products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
- Aerospace industry experience, preferred
- Project Management experience, preferred
