What You Will Do:

• Oversee day-to-day services provided in homes with attention to health, wellness, and safety
• Maintain appropriate communication methods with Host Home Providers and team members
• Monitor and maintain service plans, contracts, referrals, and relations with families of the clients
• Direct Support to clients
• Advocacy and public relations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas; Human Services, Rehabilitation, Education, Psychology or related field, plus two years of experience working with people with mental health diagnosis
• Knowledge of person-centered planning and person-centered supports is preferred
• One year of supervisor experience
• Valid Class D Endorsement 3 Iowa Driver’s License
• Proof of 50/100/50K Automobile Insurance
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Ability to set appropriate staff/client boundaries
• Ability to negotiate and handle conflict as needed
• Proficient in Microsoft software and applications
• Ability to travel in counties served by Candeo
• Must be able to pass background checks
• Possess a motor vehicle that meets the required operational and maintenance guidelines, that are in accordance with the Iowa Department of Transportation motor vehicle safety standards and Candeo’s Motor Vehicle Guidelines.
