About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant to join the Wealth Management Credit Risk Data Management (WMCRD) Workstream team within the Credit Risk Intelligence & Transformation (CRIT) group - a unit within Corporate Credit Risk.

 

Credit Risk Intelligence & Transformation is responsible for aggregating credit risk exposure across the company to aid in many use cases including – Regulatory Reporting, Management Reporting, and analytics.

 

The Data Management group within CRIT is seeking to add an experienced, highly motivated credit risk professional to its Wealth Management Credit Risk Database (WMCRD) Workstream Team.  This individual will assist in maintaining and enhancing the WMCRD database to support WIM Credit Risk, CRIT Credit Risk, and Regulatory Reporting.

 

This individual will be responsible for a wide variety of job functions that require a diverse skill set. In addition, this individual will have exposure to numerous team members throughout the company, therefore the ability to create strategic partnerships will be important.


In this role, you will:

  • Use analytical tools (SQL, etc.) to profile and analyze data.
  • Problem solves using data and business knowledge.
  • Analyze the impact of changes to the underlying data or business strategy.
  • Use SDLC principles to create data mapping, test, and approve development of the Wealth Management Credit Risk Database (WMCRD).
  • Document and work on enhancement of business processes and controls that are impactful to managing the accuracy of our data.
  • Review work of others and provide value-added feedback.


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in management of information systems, accounting, finance, or related degree.
  • Strong technical/data skills, including strong SQL skills and familiarity working with large relational databases.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, combined with strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Ability to research, report on, and resolve a variety of issues using problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-starter, with a strong sense of initiative and a high-level attention to detail.  Must be able to identify, assess the impact of, and correct or offer solutions to potential errors or problems.

    Pay Range
     

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

    $84,000.00 - $164,400.00
