About the "Department"

• Same-day or outpatient surgery offers a convenient, lower-cost option for patients undergoing minor surgery or surgeries that do not require and overnight stay. All outpatient surgeries are performed in a state-of-the-art facility by a staff of highly trained physicians, surgeons, nurses and other medical professionals.

About The Career:

• Performs initial assessment, prepares patient for appropriate surgical/special procedure and their visit with anesthesia. Acts as a liaison between anesthesia, operative team and family. Provides pre- operative care and support of patient and family.

All About You:

• Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a Degree in Nursing.
• BLS required upon hire.
• Encompasses a wide range of nursing, psycho-social and medical information which includes nursing process, communication and problem solving, assessment and prioritizing skills.
