About the role
The Department of Epidemiology is seeking a Data Assistant.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews for background information regarding a new ARIC proposal involving support in ARIC (spouse pairs data) in atrial fibrillation and cognitive decline.
- Help with literature reviews regarding upcoming R01 submissions regarding atrial fibrillation apart from stroke and cognitive decline.
- Assist the Johansen lab with data entry relevant to ongoing clinical studies apart from ARIC.
- Learn the ins and outs of running a cohort study under the auspices of Dr. Wallace/Selvin, and the importance of participant consent and data management in a clinical study under the auspices of Dr. Johansen and her lab.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
