Registered Dietitian 

 Inova Loudoun and Inova Mount Vernon are seeking four Registered Dietitians to join our expanding inpatient clinical nutrition team. We are looking for self-motivated, registered dietitians that want to be part of a high performing clinical nutrition team with a goal of providing world class nutrition care for every patient that we have the privilege to serve. These roles are full-time Day Shifts (40 hrs/week) Monday- Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. Registered Dietitian Job Responsibilities:

• The Registered Dietitian provides safe and therapeutic nutritional care in a comprehensive and systematic manner.
• Provides clinical services and acts as a resource to physicians, nurses and other professional healthcare team members, to provide patients with optimum nutritional care. 
• Coordinates the nutrition care plan with the physician and other healthcare providers while serving as a resource in the integration of the nutrition care plan into the comprehensive plan of care for the patient. 
• Formulates an individualized nutrition plan of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Registered Dietitian Requirements:

• Work Schedule: Full-time Day Shifts (40 hrs/week) Monday- Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. 
• Education: Master’s degree if degree was completed after 1/1/2024
• Experience: Dietetic internship or equivalent
• Certification:       
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) Certification required upon start
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required within 3 Months of hire
