Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions - Boca Raton, FL
Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and implementing recruitment and onboarding activities and collaborating across Student Affairs, Academic Affairs and Business Services.
Plays a leadership role in B-Team – the leadership group in the onboarding of new students.
Responsible for engaging and mentoring admission counselors in best practices to contribute to the team’s overall success for recruitment and onboarding.
Manages a recruitment territory, using data, data analytics tools, and university's dashboards to drive decisions, and consider ROI in recruitment events, travel, and marketing efforts.
Travels for admissions/recruitment purposes.
Supports all on-campus recruitment events such as open houses and other divisional events.
Conducts performance reviews and sets goals with staff.
Accountable for goals within assigned territory, providing reports on productivity, and providing input to admissions and student affairs leadership to inform the bigger enrollment picture.
Communicates In-person, phone, email, text, and chat with potential students. Admissions staff members are required to be nimble and able to utilize and participate in these ways.
Thorough understanding of university policies, FL Board of Governors policies & procedures, and gives accurate information.
Performs other job related responsibilities as assigned by the Director or Associate Director.
