About the Role

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for the Fulfillment and Delivery of prescriptions at Alto Pharmacy. This role will lead our pharmacist and courier staff while executing the prescription fulfillment processes to the expectations of the patient while achieving company objectives. This role will be expected to create industry leading operational capabilities, develop and attract top talent while scaling the organization to meet growth expectations. The role will assist in improving patient experience, leading and developing teams, launching new locations, maintaining inventory accuracy, implementing automation and systems while ensuring on time delivery for our expanding patient, provider and partner population.

This person will have a strong grasp of lean manufacturing principles, ability to create and deploy bar raising process improvements while partnering with engineering teams to develop technology that consumes complexity and scales the business.

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience working in operations and at least 7+ years in a leadership role supporting operational functions in the areas of fulfillment, delivery and/or pharmacy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior leaders and develop business cases.
  • Strong relationship management experience building relationships quickly with key clinic partners and manufacturers.
  • Have scaled teams and built sustainable tools and repeatable processes.
  • Analytics and metrics focused and have a track record for driving KPI improvements.
  • Understands product and program partnerships with cross functional teams. 
  • Ability to train, motivate, and coach teams maintaining high standards and positive morale.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Have a Pharm-D degree, pharmacy background, or have healthcare experience.
  • Experience in the areas of lean thinking, and/or standard work.

  • Frequent repeating motions required to operate a computer that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Sedentary work: Sitting most of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force
