Sales Operations Pricing Analyst

As a Sales Operations Pricing Analyst in the Sales Operations organization at Micron, you will be responsible for collaborating with channel partners to respond to price inquiries. Pre-sale duties include knowledge of Micron’s product line, accountable to grow sales with select partners, and provide pricing, availability, and product information. Post-sale duties include the research and analysis of pricing as well as identifying product availability on quotes which have a high potential of winning the business.

You will maintain and grow internal relationships and collaborate with external collaborators to ensure revenue and sales plan goals are met. You will present a target driven and sales attitude while striving to increase customer happiness through an outstanding customer experience. You will also work internally to implement streamlined and efficient business processes aligned to Sales Operations objectives.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead a subset of channel customers and aim to meet/exceed established revenue and sales targets and metrics
• Align to Micron’s Sales Operations leadership strategies
• Make independent pricing operations decisions within given guidelines
• Have a detailed knowledge of our product portfolio and provide accurate direction to customers to ensure a correct product solution is provided.
• Develop and maintain key customer relationships with internal partners
• Be an authority on market pricing and own any partner concern required to win the business.
• Work with Sales and/or Sales Operations to resolve any raised delivery and/or pricing issues.
• Provide contract pricing guidelines to our sales team and provide blanket pricing.
• Go-to pricing person for assigned region/customers
• Achieve the department’s key metrics/goals
• Lead business processes within area of responsibility

Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields.
• Experience (1 yrs+) in any of the following or related fields: Business, Sales/Marketing, Finance
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and Power BI with the ability to manipulate and summarize large amounts of data using formulas/pivots.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail (project management experience a plus).
• Strong ability to optimally prioritize, multi-task and handle contending deliverables.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proactive, self-motivated with a focus on dedication and follow-through skills.
• Ability to lead own time and make independent decisions within work parameters.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Focus on quality – do it right the “first time” mentality.
• Must demonstrate a technical ability to learn new software tools.
