Want to join our team as a Temporary Graphic Designer?

The Temporary Graphic Designer for BAUER HOCKEY will support creative executions for our network of channels informed by our brand and platform strategy.  This position requires a full range of knowledge of the graphic design process, can creatively and consistently reflect Bauer Hockey’s brand identity on social platforms, ecommerce, and retail. This role reports to the Senior Graphic Designer, 40 hours/week, in the Exeter, NH office 3 days/week and for 2 months.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Execute approved concepts in creative scope to promote both our product and brand storytelling against a scope of work.
• Provide cross-functional graphic design support including creative/marketing, social posts, ecommerce, and retail.
• Ensure that design and copy comply with printing and web industry standards.
• Maintain Bauer brand standards across multiple mediums (colors, fonts, imagery).
• Manage a large database of images, including color correction, retouching, and resizing.
• Produce original, thoughtful, and clean graphic designs under tight deadlines and adheres to brand guidelines.
• Adhere to project work back schedules and deadlines as set by the Project Manager. Comfortable using project management software to track project progress, updates, and approvals (Monday.com).

Qualifications:

• BS or BA in Design or related field- or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
• 2-5 years of graphic design experience working within a creative team environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating graphic design capabilities and an unwavering attention to detail.
• Experience, energy, talent, commitment, creative edge and a passion for the brand with proven experience working within the specifications of a brand style-guide.
• Must be flexible and able to focus on a wide range of projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated problem-solver capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• A team player with collaborative skills, and open to creative direction. Strong presentation, listening and communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with color correction and image database management is required.
• Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
