• Delegating tasks to team members.
• Opening the bakery early in the morning
• Providing an outstanding customer-focused experience
• Greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
• Cleaning kitchen equipment and tools before use
• Measuring and combining ingredients
• Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough 
• Shaping dough to prepare different types of baked goods
• Using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment
• Adjusting oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
• Mixing various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and other baked goods
• Decorating, packaging and/or displaying finished products.
• Preparing custom-made baked goods based on customers’ preferences (e.g. birthday cakes)
• Ensuring that each item meets food safety and quality controls
• Cleaning and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
• Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.

Requirements

A few things you'll need…

• Candidates must be 18+ years or older
• Complete a pre-employment background check
• Must be able to lift, carry and push up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
• Obtain a Food Worker Card in your state

We'd love to meet you

Especially if you can talk to us about your...

• Passion for baking recipes from scratch
• Previous experience as a Baker, or similar role

These qualifications will help you stand out

• Strong organizational skills to give the team direction.
• Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Certification from a culinary school is a plus
