Job Description:

  • Invents new computing languages, tools, and methods to help SRA's Engineers and Scientists solve complex computing problems.
  • Responsible for the development of the company's Samsung Adoptive Luminance Transform ("SALT") framework and theatrical solutions.
  • Develop the color and brightness management workflow for SRA's professional content creation.
  • Upgrade SALT to reflect the requirements of SRA's internal and external developers. Deploy SALT as an open innovation solution.
  • Collaborate with SRA's Studio Color Scientists and leverage the company's single master solution ("SMS") for studio workflow development to discover the best performance solution.
  • Collaborate with SRA's Designers to research the Academy Color Encoding System ("ACES").
  • Work closely with the company's internal algorithm team and Color Scientists to adopt HDRl0+ technologies into SRA's SMS solution.
  • Assist SRA's internal and external third parties adopt to SAMSUNG Tone Mastering Solution by leveraging OpenFX technologies to deploy SMS solutions into commercial tools.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Vision, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related.

Applicants must have 2 years of experience in the following:

  • Image and video processing tool development and algorithm optimization
  • Product development in computer vision engineering and image processing industry
  • Image and video processing algorithms
  • C/C++ and Python for image processing
  • Semantic image segmentation algorithms
  • Image categorization and recognition
  • Deep Learning and Neural Network model development and deployment skills with PyTorch and Tensorflow
  • Identifying, implementing and optimizing state-of-art computer vision and image processing algorithms

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
